  1. What new and innovations training methods have you or your staff used to make learning stick?

    I worked with the Hospitality & Retail Program where the Hospitality/Retail Career Center training was based on the Skills, Tasks, and Results Training (START) curriculum developed by the American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute. Along with classroom-based instruction we set up the classroom up as a hotel room which allowed a hands-on method to develop the students’ ability to apply the knowledge and skills learned during the training program. This method was successful because the instructors was able to measure, and encourage improvement of the students’ performance during training.
